Hi everyone,

I hope you are enjoying your summer! As we are trying to navigate these uncertain times, I wanted to provide you all with a few updates:

•captain practices have been going very well, as our captains are leading our team in safe & effective summer training sessions that abide by TG’s and CDC safety guidelines. Summer practices are at 8:00am at TG on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

•Unfortunately, due to the Corona Virus, we will not be able to attend our annual summer camping trip at White Water State Park. It is a huge bummer, but we need to ensure we are keeping our athletes and coaches safe.

•Finally, I have accepted a job as the dean of students at Fridley High School. As I am extremely excited to start this new journey, it is also bittersweet; I am having to step down as head coach of TG CC. Due to my new role and responsibilities, I will not have time to effectively be the head coach our team deserves. With that being said, I will still be around and on the coaching staff( along with Coach Taylor and coach Luke), just not in the drivers seat. However, the new coach will be named later this week. I will be working closely with the new head coach to ensure traditions are kept going and to make this a smooth transition. I want everyone to know this was an unbelievably hard decision, however, it is the best one. We have built a strong TG CC family; never forget that. I love each and everyone of you!
